후난 출신인 우위린은 중국과학원 물리연구소를 졸업하고 수년간 초전도 양자 계산 연구를 해왔다.
작업 경험은 다음과 같이 마이크로 가공 설비의 설치와 유지보수, 양자 칩 설계, 마이크로 가공 샘플의 제조와 테스트,저온시스템 구축 유지보수, 초전도 양자비트 측정시스템 구축, 소프트웨어 개발을 포함한다.
